As of this weekend, I've decided to go 'back to some basics'...
As mentioned on the About The Lazy Natural page, I like to keep things simple and “Test out” where I could trim the fat to save time. But let's be real -- I am an accountant, not a licensed cosmetologist, so sometimes certain things don't work out...and I have to reevaluate.
Lately, I've been noticing quite a few single strand knots and ragged & thinning ends! I'm having to trim more than ever! Naturally - My length retention has been suffering as a result. You can really get a glimpse of the stagnant growth in these pics of my last three henna treatments. You see how fast it grew between April 2011 and August 2011. Not as much growth displayed in this latest Henna treatment from today.

Sooooo ---- guess what I'm going back to...LOL!
- I've dusted off my shea-butter. This time I mixed it with Aloe Gel and Rosemary Essential Oils (for scent)
- I have Henna sitting on my hair as I type. I plan to get a treatment in every other month.
- I also plan to Deep Condition more often..atleast twice a month. I've been slacking in this area as well!
Welp - I will keep you posted on my progress. Stay tuned for my Henna Video...I taped the first part tonight and will finish the second part in the morning...
Later Gaters!

I've jumped back on to the basics of what I use to do. Like Deep Cond, trim/dusting ends & trying to pay attention to when I need protein in my hair.
ReplyDeleteAshley, so sorry just seeing this. What time of protein do you use? I have only used henna for strengthening but I may branch out soon.
